Charles Lukens
Chief Executive Officer and APU Board Member
Lukens, 40, joined APU's predecessor company in 2000 as Director of Sales and was promoted to Vice president of Sales in 2001, President and Chief Operating Officer in 2002, and CEO in 2006. Prior to APU, Lukens held executive management-level sales and operations roles for 12 years in the telecommunications field. He was Regional Vice President of Sales and Operations for E.spire Communications' West region. Prior to E.spire, he was Sprint's Director of National Accounts, Midwest region. Lukens studied business administration at the University of Missouri, Kansas City.
Evie Royse
Chief Financial Officer
Royse, 47, is a multilingual executive with over 20 years of experience in finance, accounting and operations management; treasury; international business; marketing; technology and human resources. Before joining APU's predecessor company in 2001, she held senior management positions with large and small privately held and publicly traded multinational companies including NCR Corporation, AT&T, Lee Apparel Company and KOCH Supplies, Inc. Royse received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky and a Master of International Business Studies from the University of South Carolina.
Scott Westbrook
Director of Sales and Marketing
Westbrook, 38, joined APU's predecessor company in 2000 and is a 14-year veteran in sales and marketing. Westbrook's also a veteran of 1991's Operation Desert Storm, where he served the U.S. Marine Corps with distinction. Following his service, he was Account Manager, Account Executive and Major Account Executive for Gateway Computers. At APU, Westbrook has been promoted from National Account Manager to Director of Operations and Director of Sales and Marketing. Westbrook studied business administration at the University of Arkansas and received an associate degree at Park University.
Jay Scruton
Director of Product Management
Scruton, 40, joined APU's predecessor company in 2000. He adds over a decade of experience in the field of product management and training. Scruton has developed regional and national training programs as well as several software applications for the automotive industry. Previous to APU, he held sales and marketing positions at Sysco food services, Gateway and Applebee's Inc. He studied public relations and advertising at the University of Pittsburgh.
